| Over 100 Million in Total Paid Out to Tipp24
Online Lottery Players 2007: 23-times all six numbers, four new millionaires
and a million euros for just three correct numbers to round off a great
year HAMBURG, Germany (January 3, 2008) --
With four new millionaires and more than 3.4 million lottery winners in total,
Hamburg-based Tipp24 AG boasts an
impressive number of lucky winners in 2007.
During the past year 23
Tipp24 winners successfully picked all six lottery numbers. Among them was one
loyal Tipp24 customer who claimed the highest jackpot in German Lotto history
of over 45 million euros on 5 December 2007. He shared this record amount with
two other lucky winners and still pocketed around 15.1 million euros. During
the year, a further two jackpot winners enjoyed prizes of around 4.3 and 2.9
million euros. In 2007 three Tipp24 customers also
picked the right numbers for the additional Spiel77 lottery. One of them is now
the proud owner of some 2.3 million euros. A further 19 players each picked up
100 thousand euros for their numbers in the Super6 game. To round off a
fantastic year, one lucky player from the state of Baden-Württemberg whose
Tipp24 ticket had just three winning numbers won one million euros in the
special draw. In total, Tipp24 players won over
100 million euros in the 6 out of 49 lottery alone during the past
year. Jens Schumann, founder and Executive Board
member of Tipp24 AG says, These figures once again underline the great
popularity of our service. Tipp24 not only makes online lottery playing fast
and easy but also offers numerous additional services free of charge. We are
particularly pleased that we could send notification of winnings to so many of
our two million customers.

Cabinet Office. Florida Lottery
Drawings Now Available 24/7 Webcasting Offers Players Drawing Results in a New,
Convenient Way TALLAHASSEE, Florida, USA
(December 28, 2007) -- Beginning January 1st, Florida Lottery players will have access to
the Lottery drawings via webcasts posted on the Lotterys Web site at
www.flalottery.com. The webcasts will be available within the hour following
the actual drawing for all Lottery games -- FLORIDA LOTTO, MEGA
MONEY, FANTASY 5®, PLAY 4 and CASH 3TM -- held in the
Tallahassee studio.
The winning numbers will
continue to be posted on the Lottery Web sites home page immediately
following each draw. Additionally, the Florida Lottery will offer all
television stations across the state the opportunity to pick up the satellite
feed and air the official drawings at their convenience.
We are very excited about providing our players
the ability to watch the drawings when they want directly on their personal
computers, said Florida Lottery Secretary
Leo DiBenigno. In the very
near future, we plan on expanding our Internet presence by making our drawings,
commercials, and other video content available through YouTube and iTunes
podcasting. The world has changed dramatically since 1988 when the
Lottery started, and we have to change just as dramatically if we want to
remain relevant and competitive. As the
webcasts are posted on the Lotterys Web site, an archive of videos of the
drawings will remain online for 30 days. The Florida Lottery is
providing this new service in part to further enhance its commitment to
complete transparency. Prior to making drawings available on the Web
site, players had to rely solely on the drawings being aired once on their
local television station, added Secretary DiBenigno.
Now they will have complete access to all our drawings at their
convenience, which we hope will instill additional confidence in their
perception of the Lotterys integrity. Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $17
billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, benefiting our students and
schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures
scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a
constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the
purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.

ASX Announcement -- Tatts Group to Acquire
Remaining 50% of European Gaming MELBOURNE, Victoria, Australia (December 20, 2007) --
Tatts Group advises that it has entered into
an agreement to acquire Macquarie Group Limiteds 50% share of the
European Gaming Group. European Gaming owns 100% of
Talarius, which operates 191 gaming centres and approximately 8,000 gaming
machines in the United Kingdom
The transaction is expected
to complete in January 2008. Tatts Group will fund the acquisition from
existing corporate debt facilities. Background on
Talarius/European Gaming Talarius was listed as a
cash shell on AIM (a market operated by the London Stock Exchange) in April
2005, and in June 2005 completed the reverse takeover of RAL, an operator of
AGCs (Adult Gaming Centres) in the UK. Since that time Talarius has completed
four acquisitions and pursued a Greenfield site development strategy. European
Gaming acquired Talarius in February 2007. In the
middle of 2007 European Gaming replaced the previous Management team and
installed Brendan Redmond from Tatts Group as the Chief Executive. He has since
supported a full review of the business by Tatts Groups Bytecraft, Tatts
Pokies and Maxgaming business units. Having agreed to
acquire 100% of European Gaming, Tatts Group with Talarius have already turned
attention to the planning necessary to introduce new gaming machines,
reconfigure gaming floors, refurbish venues and produce more efficient and
timely gaming machine maintenance practices. These initiatives will involve a
capital expenditure program of £24M over the next 3 years.
Tatts Group also intends to seize opportunities to acquire
more venues in the UK at a time when the market is experiencing the
difficulties that inevitably follow in-venue smoking bans and other regulatory
changes. CONTACT: Michael Mangos on +613 8517 7443 or
