The Company provided guidance for the full year and second

INTRALOT Announce
New Developments on Greek Sports Betting Game
ATHENS, Greece (June 27, 2005) --
INTRALOT, as the organizer of the Greek
Sports Betting Game, through its subsidiary BETTING COMPANY S.A., announces
that it agreed with OPAP S.A to undertake a
number of measures for the upgrade and improvement of the content, the terms
and the infrastructure of the sports betting game "Stihima".
The downward trend that "Stihima" has shown is mainly
due to the increase of the market share of illegal betting through the Internet
and the increased traffic in the network of terminals after the introduction of
KENO that resulted in queues in the agencies. The agreement between INTRALOT
and OPAP aims to improve the competitiveness of the game and make it more
appealing to the players.
The main points of the agreement are the following:
1) For the enrichment of the gaming content, the following
additional types and betting events have been agreed upon:
- Gradual introduction of the Greek championships as
betting events in the game "Stihima" from the beginning of the
Championship season 2005-2006, in combination with foreign championships
matches.
- Over/under betting, which means the prediction of
exceeding, or not, some arithmetic limits during an athletic event. For
example: sum of goals, cards, penalties (in football), sum and difference of
points (in basketball) etc.
- Betting during the conduct of a match (in-play
betting).
- Introduction of additional athletic events, like tennis,
volley, polo, handball, where one will have to predict the winner of a
tournament, the winner of a group, or the participants in the final.
- Expansion of betting in additional motor-sport
events.
- Introduction of betting in non-athletic events, like
international or cultural contests etc.
The implementation of the above additional types of betting
will require the issuance of new rules and amendment of the existing rules of
the game and their approval with mutual ministerial decisions.
2) Given that the content mentioned above includes bets with
a an increased payout and based on the existing contract with OPAP S.A. it has
been agreed that the payout for the period January 31st, 2005 January
29th, 2007 will increase by 6% totally. OPAP will participate by 90% in the
payout differential (i.e. the 6% difference) and INTRALOT will participate by
10%. With the introduction of Greek game betting, starting in the 2005-2006
championship period, OPAP will participate by 82% in the increased payout,
while INTRALOT will participate by 18%.
3) During the term of the agreement INTRALOT will provide to
OPAP free-of-charge 2,000 new terminals mainly for the support of Stihima. The
installation of the new terminals will take place in parallel with the
upgrading of OPAPs technological platform and will be completed within 8
months after the required approvals mentioned in paragraph 1 are received. The
upgrade of OPAPs technological platform, coupled with the installation of
the new terminals is expected to decongest the agent sales network and to
permit the safe and efficient handling of the expected increased turnover of
Stihima.

 |
The above agreement is expected to be a significant mean for
containing illegal gambling and is expected to increase the turnover and the
profitability of Stihima.
INTRALOT SA CEO, Mr Constantinos Antonopoulos, said: "We
are very pleased for reaching this agreement with OPAP, since these measures
will contribute decisively to the competitiveness of the largest Sports Betting
Game worldwide. This particular game had experienced a downward trend the last
few months, due to competition arising from internet betting and illegal
gaming. This new agreement is expected to foster the Greek Sports Betting Game
to the mutual benefit for both INTRALOT and OPAP S.A."
INTRALOT, a public company listed on the ASE, is a leading
supplier of integrated gaming and transaction processing systems, innovative
game content and value added services to state-licensed gaming organizations
worldwide. With 31 subsidiaries, 7 business offices and 1,500 people in 28
countries and revenues of 328.5 million, INTRALOTs footprint
straddles five continents. The company currently ranks 3rd on revenues and 2nd

State Lottery to
Minnesotans: Don't Belittle Millions Minnesota State Lottery Unveils Its
Biggest Marketing Effort
ST. PAUL, Minnesota, USA (June 27, 2005) --
The Minnesota State Lottery today
launches the largest, most visible marketing effort in the agency's history in
order to remind people that winning a few million dollars is nothing to
breezily disregard. Titled, "Don't Belittle Powerball® ... It's Always
Big," the new campaign targets Minnesotans who only play the Powerball when
the jackpot hits record dollar amounts, instead of playing when payouts are
more modest at $10 million or $20 million.
 |
"The number of Minnesota Powerball players grows
exponentially when the jackpot hits $100 million or more," explained
Minnesota State Lottery Executive Director Clint Harris. "With our new
marketing campaign, we want to say to these Minnesotans, 'Don't kid yourself,
$10 million is a lot of money.'"
The most unique element of the high-profile campaign
involves a surprising mobile marketing element, allowing Minnesotans to
experience the sheer size of the Powerball for themselves. A delivery truck, an
El Camino and a Ford LTD, "crushed" by giant red Powerballs that fell
from the sky, will make appearances at events in the Twin Cities and across the
state. While the cars will travel in the metro area and around the state on the
back of a flat-bed truck, the delivery truck will visit the 18 convenience and
retail stores in Minnesota that have sold winning Powerball jackpot tickets.
The delivery truck tour will kick-off at SuperAmerica, 13500 County Road 5 in
Burnsville, the site where the very first Minnesota Powerball jackpot ticket
was sold. The truck will be parked at the store June 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m. Other special events also will take place during that time.
"When people see the imposing vehicles driving down the
road or parked next to a snack stand at the Taste of Minnesota, the Minnesota
State Lottery's message about the Powerball won't be able to be ignored --
Powerball is always big," said Harris.
The marketing campaign also involves creative television and
radio advertising spots and strategic Web announcements, as well as soon-to-be-
completed revamped Powerball billboards, allowing the Minnesota State Lottery
to remind people that $10 million or $20 million is a lot of money about which
to dream.

Veikkaus Launched
SMS Gaming
FINLAND (July 1, 2005) -- Finns have now the opportunity to
play Lotto, Keno, and Result Odds Betting by SMS. This means that for example
people spending their holidays have a chance to chase the jackpot while they
are at their summer cottages or abroad. The service was introduced during the
week following midsummer.
Veikkaus aims at
offering games and services in places where customers can easily and naturally
access them. At present, electronic playing takes place mainly over the
internet. SMS gaming opens up a new easy channel to self-service gaming, says
Development Manager Riku Nordlund from Veikkaus Technology Development.
|
 |
In order to play the games by SMS, players must register and
open an account at Veikkaus internet game service www.veikkaus.fi. First,
they have to accept the conditions for SMS gaming and give their mobile phone
number. SMS players are thus identified on the basis of their mobile phone
numbers.
Lotto and Keno are played as quick pick games by SMS. To
submit a Lotto entry, you simply send the message "lotto x" to
Veikkaus service number. X means the number of rows entered, and the
maximum is 12 rows at a time. You will receive a reply message confirming the
draw in which your entry participates, together with your quick pick numbers.
The message will also include information on the price of the entry and your
game account balance after the game.
The entries are debited from the customers game
accounts, because playing on credit is forbidden in Finland. As for the SMS
services, they are charged for in the subsequent mobile phone bills. The SMS
messages cost EUR 0.40, including the messages sent by the players and the
reply messages from the game system.
In addition to the SMS games, all Veikkaus
playslip-based games can be played by mobile phones through the wap service, at
wap.veikkaus.fi.
One of Finlands most popular web stores
At present, electronic gaming represents 13 percent of
Veikkaus total sales of the playslip-based games. Every week, games are
played for some EUR 2.5 million over the internet, the wap service, and the
digital TV. Veikkaus internet service is one of the largest web stores
open to consumers in Finland: in 2004, our internet game sales amounted to a
total of EUR 110.8 million. The internet service is favoured most by bettors,
but the Lotto games and Keno are also popular. The internet game service has
currently over 320,000 registered players.
