James Haynes

Biography:
James M. Haynes, Acting Director of the Nebraska Lottery since February 2004, also serves as the Director of the Charitable Gaming and Investigations Unit Divisions of the Nebraska Department of Revenue. Jim has been with the Department of Revenue since 1991, serving as a supervisor and as personnel manager. Prior to joining the Department of Revenue, he was a Lincoln Police Officer for 16 years. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. From 1993-1995, he was an investigator assigned to work with the Nebraska Lottery on everything from background checks to scratch ticket printing.
