Michael J. Edmonds

Biography:
Mike was appointed Wisconsin Lottery Director in April 2003. Prior to his appointment, Mike practiced law in Milwaukee, handling a variety of cases, including criminal and civil litigation in the state and federal courts. Mike started his legal career with the Wisconsin State Public Defender. Prior to law school, Mike worked as a legislative assistant in the Wisconsin Legislature.
Mike has a degree in history from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Acting Lottery Administrator Named
WISCONSIN (April 17, 2003) -- Madison-Secretary of Revenue, Michael L. Morgan, announced on Friday the appointment of Michael Edmonds as the Acting Administrator of the Lottery Division. Mike took over his duties on Monday.
Prior to this appointment, Mike had been an attorney in private practice in Milwaukee handling a variety of cases including criminal and civil litigation in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. He has also served as an Assistant State Public Defender and worked as a Legislative Assistant in the Wisconsin legislature. Mike lives in Madison with his wife Amelia and his six year old son, Max.
