Joan Borucki, Director California Lottery

Biography:
Ms. Borucki has served as chief deputy director and acting director of the California State Lottery since April 2006.
From 2005 to 2006, she was chairwoman of the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. Earlier , she served as director of the Department of Motor Vehicles from 2004 to 2005, a team leader for the California Performance Review in 2004 and chief deputy director of the California Transportation Commission from 2002 to 2004.
