Pan Malaysian Pools Sdn Bhd (PMP) operates the Racing
and Numbers Forecast Totalisator businesses under the provisions of the Racing
(Totalisator Board) Act 1961. The principal activities of the National Stud
Farm Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the PMP, are horse breeding and the
provision of agistment and related services.
Malaysia In December 2004, Tanjong announced that it
had, via Uniclic Limited (Uniclic), a 50% associated company,
entered into a conditional shareholders agreement to participate in a 49%
interest in Yuvenga LLC which had acquired the rights to operate an online
lottery known as Moscow Olympic Lottery in Moscow, Russia. Under
the agreement, Uniclic shall supply to Yuvenga LLC the gaming equipment,
hardware and software necessary for the Moscow Olympic Lottery and also act as
the consultant to Yuvenga LLC in relation to the operation of the Moscow
Olympic Lottery.
The Moscow Olympic Lottery was launched on 12 December
2005.
Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Pan
Malaysian Pools Sdn Bhd: Mr. Ng Eng Tong joined the Group in 1994
as the Chief Operating Officer of Pan Malaysian Pools Sdn Bhd ("PMP"). He was
appointed the Chairman of the Board of PMP in March 2002 and is currently the
Chief Executive Officer of PMP. He graduated from the University of Wales, UK
with a Degree in Chemical Engineering. He was previously with the Shell group
of companies in Malaysia, with more than 25 years of experience in the
downstream oil market.
