Merida, Mexico February 1 - 5,
2006
 BASEL, Switzerland (November 4,
2005) -- The WLA and Loteria Nacional have
the pleasure to announce that the WLA Executive Committee has unanimously
approved an alternative date and location for the World Lottery Forum in the
historic Mexican city of Merida, from February 1 – 5, 2006. Mexico’s
President Vincente Fox, and the Governor of the Yucatan have both indicated
their strong ongoing support for this important

Convention
We are putting together an exciting line-up
of topics and distinguished speakers to ensure every delegate a memorable and
rewarding experience.
Revolving the theme Beyond a World of
Numbers, the WLA 2006, SINGAPORE convention programme will cover
the many issues and challenges faced by the lottery industry. These shall
include those posed by new legislations, shifting demographics, changing
customer preferences and other topical issues in the industry.
In addition,
taking advantage of Singapore’s strategic location, delegates can look
forward to other interesting topics on Eastern beliefs, values and practices
and their influence on our business and management. Trade Show
The WLA 2006, SINGAPORE Trade Show will be
held at the convention venue, Raffles City Convention Centre. The Trade Show
begins at the Main Atrium of the convention venue and “flows” along
the passageways to culminate in the Collyer Room where the key meetings will be
held.
Trade Show and meeting areas are integrated. Exhibitors displaying
their latest products and services will line the delegates’ routes to the
meeting rooms. Lunch and tea will be served at strategic spots along the way.
What all this means is that the Trade Show stands to be visited by more than
800 delegates on a daily basis.
Book early for a slot to showcase your
latest products and services! Up to nine marketing slots may be staged by
contributors and exhibitors over the four-day Trade Show.
